black and white and dead all over

scroll over image to see what they look like on the other side (except the black one has white on the other side and vice versa)

I had been admiring this skull fabric for a while but neglected to bring any home because I had no idea what to make with it. My sister's birthday was coming up and when I found out that her kitchen is black and white, I knew it was kismet. Now I'm thinking an apron is in order 'cause I just can't get enough of this print. It reminds me of a laboratory. And Gene Wilder.

Those are freaking badass. What do you pad them with?

You can call me Betty, or Bethany, or Beth ...Just don't call me late for dinner. said...

Nicely done.. Can't wait to see that apron. And I am glad you reminded me.. I need to rent Young Frankenstein for my kid.

jenny - I used two layers of home dec fabric for insulation sandwiched between two layers of batting. Denim or terry works well for insulation too.

berlee - well, well, well. glad to hear you like them. I'm going today to see if I can score some more fabric. I only had enough left to make another set of potholders :)
