Holiday Swappin'

I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving.

After finally dragging myself out of bed, I kicked into high gear and have been going so fast that I don't know what day it is. I do apologize for leaving you nothing but that sad little haiku for so long. If I can catch a moment here and there, I'll be doing some back posting. There's been a lot going on, just no time to have a cup of tea and share.

First things first. I receiveed the most fabulous apron from Nickie. This thing is so fine that when I opened the package, I squealed!
It is absolutely perfect. The colors, the swirly designs, I love it all. The big tree is a pocket!
All the bells come off for washing...not that this apron will ever get dirty. This is my Christmas party hostin' apron.

Nicki also sent lots of other goodies. Along with recipe cards for yummy holiday food, she sent holiday coffee, a bar of pumpkin spice soap, a beautiful handmade star ornament, extra recipe cards from the Recipe Box (for which I cannot find a link) and the most heavenly chocolate I have ever tasted.

Thank you so much Nickie, you did a fabulous job and I love it all!

The Holiday Apron Swap party was kicking on Dec. 1. A little late for the party this time, but maybe if I hurry I can still find a drink and a bite to eat. I'll post what I made for my recipiant as soon as I know she has it.

I wonder how she made that little star ornament. Those would be cute out of cool paper.
